TranSister Radio
Joanne
Clarke and Jane London bring you all
the news, events and music from the transgender communities. "What is
exciting this time" says Joanne "is that technology has moved on and now
with podcasting we are able to reach a much bigger audience." and
now (as of May 13) PlainsFM is now streamed live so you can hear the
program from anywhere in the world live as it happens.
Agender Christchurch Inc. are supporting the programme. Plains FM have been wonderful and are so supportive. Station Manager Nicki Reece thinks this is the best time to re launch TranSister Radio! with the recent report out from the Human Rights Commission. TranSister Radio! was a finalist in the 2000 New Zealand Radio Awards. TranSister Radio!'s first guest for 2008 was Human Rights Commissioner, Joy Liddicoat. Guests include transgender Police Officer and DLO Constable Sarah Lurajud and Tranny Granny Jacquie Grant, with regular book reviews from Elspeth and News from Europe with Wilhelmina Hein in Holland.
Tune in Tuesdays at 10pm on PlainsFM 96.9.
